All
pets need a collar with ID and license tags (microchips or tattoos
provide permanent ID). An extra tag with an out-of-state contact name
and number is critical if you and your pet are displaced and become
separated. A crate or portable carrier will keep your pet safely
confined in your vehicle or temporary quarters. Emergency stickers at
each entrance to your home alert rescue workers to the pets who live
there.
IMPORTANT: In an emergency, DO NOT leave your pets at home! You may not
be allowed to return for them. Don't leave your best friend behind. |
